What to actually put up

You are not building a personality brand. You're building a verifiable record. Four things do almost all the work: your certifications and licenses, the systems and equipment you're proficient with, photos of completed work, and one sentence about the kind of problems you solve.

Post like a tradesperson, not a marketer

Once a week, show one thing you fixed and one thing you learned. Two sentences. No hashtags, no hustle language. Over six months that's fifty pieces of evidence that you know your craft — which is exactly the thing employers can't verify from a resume.

The leverage this creates is quiet but real: more inbound calls, less desperation in negotiations, and the ability to leave a bad shop without starting from zero.
